The event included a tour of the forthcoming OSU Battery Cell R&D Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to accelerate advanced battery research. The ARPA-E EVs4ALL project, titled “Extreme Fast Charging Batteries with Extended Cycle Life for EVs,” aims to deliver high-performance, cost-effective, and rapidly charging battery technologies essential for widespread electric vehicle adoption. During the visit, DOE representatives toured the OSU Battery Cell R&D Center, which includes an advanced pilot production line.
